Meet Dori, founder of South Coast Safeguarding

My work in safeguarding has always been rooted in people, not just policy. With over 15 years' experience across local authorities, health and social care, education, and the police, I understand how safeguarding really works day to day. Competing pressures, staff absence, complex risk, and the emotional weight professionals carry.

Alongside my designated safeguarding leadership roles, I step in where there is pressure on capacity. I can cover staff sickness at short notice, add an extra pair of expert hands to an ongoing case and many other services on a short or long-term basis. People who work with me value my calm, trauma-informed approach and my willingness to take on complex situations without losing sight of the child's experience.
